We are proud to be Knights because:
  • As Knights we not only act on faith, we act because of it.
  • Joining in faith, joining in the future.
  • The power of faith may be immeasurable, but what a Knight does with it is not.
  • Maintaining the faith that guides our families.

St. Charles Council 2084 does a lot for the Church and Community:

  • Logged over 3,200 volunteer hours in 2008.
  • Donated over $3,500 for Church, Community, and Youth activities in 2008.
Men today have many commitments. The two largest obligations are family and work. How many times do we hear, "I do not have much time to give the Knights and so I would rather not join"?

Perhaps the best response to this statement is to request prospective members or inactive members to give just 24 hours a year.

Here’s how it works:

  • 12 hours a year reading the local newsletter, the quarterly State Council Michigan Columbian and the monthly Supreme Council magazine Columbia.
  • 2 hours a year volunteering on the council’s annual tootsie drive weekend.
  • 2 hours a year attending council corporate communions.
  • 2 hours a year on a Council sponsored church, community, council, family, or youth project.
  • 2 hours a year attending one council meeting.
  • 4 hours a year attending a council social function (dinner, dance, picnic, etc.).

Just by giving the 24 hours a year, every man can be a better Catholic, a better father, a better husband, and a better man.
